What's CBD?

EXPLORE NATURE'S MEDICINE

"Hemp" is the coined term classifying varieties of Cannabis that contain less than 0.3% THC content by dry weight. Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal if it contains 0.3% THC or less under the Agricultural Act of 2018. Hemp has generally been used to describe non-intoxicating Cannabis that is harvested for the industrial use of its derived products.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is the naturally occurring compound derived from the hemp plant that interacts with with the endocannabinoid and other vital systems of the body without the intoxicating, or "stoned" effects that THC causes.

Doctors and scientists around the world are currently testing and have confirmed a multitude of therapeutic properties of CBD.

Anecdotal evidence has shown that CBD can help manage and alleviate stress, control pain perception mechanisms, and combat insomnia. Extensive research is being conducted on CBD and its effects for a multitude of health conditions including, but not limited to inflammatory conditions such as Rheumatoid arthritis; neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's, epilepsy, and stroke; metabolic syndromes, neuropsychiatric illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, skin conditions, and even cancer.
